UL20744 Flat Ribbon Cable – 60/80°C, 30/150V Bonded or Laminated for Internal Electronic Wiring

UL20744 is a UL-certified flat ribbon cable designed for the internal wiring of electronic equipment. Rated for 60°C or 80°C and 30V or 150V, this cable features 2 to 200 insulated singles (twisted pairs, triads, or quads) laid parallel in one plane, intermittently or continuously bonded together or to the PVC covering to form a flat ribbon type cable. It complies with the Horizontal Flame Test under UL 758 AWM standards, making it suitable for applications requiring flexibility and flame resistance.

  • Conductor: Solid or stranded copper, 36–10 AWG

  • Insulation: PVC or as per manufacturer's AWM procedure

  • Assembly: 2–200 insulated singles (twisted pairs, triads, or quads) laid parallel in one plane, bonded or laminated

  • Inner Covering: Optional, extruded PVC or laminated PVC/polyester film

  • Shield: Optional

  • Outer Covering: Optional, PVC (5–80 mils), PTFE (2–80 mils), or polyester film

  • Temperature Rating: 60°C or 80°C

  • Voltage Rating: 30V or 150V

  • Flame Resistance: Passes Horizontal Flame Test

  • Standard: UL 758 AWM Style 20744
