UL1792 Shielded Wire – 80°C / 30V Flame-Retardant Cable for Internal Wiring Applications

UL1792 is a UL-certified single-conductor shielded wire designed for internal wiring in electronic and electrical equipment. Rated for 80°C and 30V, this wire is ideal for applications requiring flame retardancy and reliable signal transmission.


Key Features

  • Conductor: Solid or stranded tinned copper, available in sizes from 40 AWG and larger

  • Insulation: Extruded solid or foamed FRPE (Flame-Retardant Polyethylene), PE, PVC, XLPE, or XLPVC

  • Shielding: Optional bare or tinned copper wire braid or wrap

  • Sheath: PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride)

  • Temperature Rating: Up to 80°C

  • Voltage Rating: 30V 

  • Flame Resistance: Passes UL Horizontal Flame Test

  • Standards: Complies with UL 758 Appliance Wiring Material (AWM) Style 1792

  • Usage: Designed for internal wiring in electronic and electrical equipment
