FLR2X-A / FLR2X-B Automotive Wire – 125°C XLPE-Insulated Thin-Wall Wire for High-Temperature Vehicle Applications

FLR2X-A and FLR2X-B are XLPE-insulated thin-wall automotive wires engineered for modern vehicle wiring systems. Rated for continuous operation at 125°C, they are ideal for under-the-hood environments, EV powertrains, and hybrid vehicles that require high thermal and mechanical durability.

These wires comply with ISO 6722-1 Class C standards and feature excellent resistance to heat, abrasion, and chemicals. FLR2X-A uses standard stranded copper conductors, while FLR2X-B offers finer strands for improved flexibility.

    • FLR2X-A: Standard stranded copper (ISO Class 5)

    • FLR2X-B: Fine stranded copper (ISO Class 6)

  • Insulation: Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE), halogen-free

  • Temperature Rating: -40°C to 125°C (continuous); short-term peaks up to 150°C

  • Voltage Rating: 60V (nominal low-voltage automotive circuits)

  • Flame Resistance: ISO 6722-1 Class C compliant

  • Mechanical Strength: Excellent oil, vibration, and abrasion resistance

  • Compliance: ISO 6722-1, RoHS, REACH
