UL4478 XLPE Flat Ribbon Cable – 105°C / 300V Halogen-Free Wire for Internal Wiring Applications

UL4478 is a UL-certified flat ribbon cable designed for internal wiring in electronic and electrical equipment. Rated for 105°C and 300V, this cable features halogen-free cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, providing excellent thermal resistance, chemical stability, and mechanical protection.


 Key Features

  • Conductor: Solid or stranded bare/tinned copper, sizes ranging from 36 to 10 AWG

  • Insulation: Extruded XLPE, minimum average thickness of 0.23 mm (9 mils)

  • Pitch Options: Common pitches include 1.27 mm, 2.0 mm, and 2.54 mm

  • Assembly: Available in 2 to 100 conductors laid parallel in one plane

  • Temperature Rating: Up to 105°C

  • Voltage Rating: 300V 

  • Flame Resistance: Passes UL Horizontal Flame Test

  • Standards: Complies with UL 758 Appliance Wiring Material (AWM) Style 4478

  • Environmental Compliance: RoHS and REACH compliant, halogen-free
