XLPE insulated flat cables
Description
XLPE insulated cable uses cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) as its insulation material, offering excellent heat resistance, electrical reliability, and mechanical durability. Through cross-linking, the material becomes thermoset, giving it strong resistance to deformation, high temperatures, and environmental stress.

Capable of withstanding continuous temperatures up to 90°C and short-term peaks up to 250°C, XLPE is ideal for high-voltage power distribution and demanding industrial systems. It also delivers strong dielectric performance and insulation resistance, ensuring safe long-distance current transmission.

With resistance to moisture, chemicals, and abrasion, XLPE cables are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, including underground, duct, and tray installations. Their low capacitance and leakage contribute to system efficiency and stability.

Commonly used in power plants, substations, machinery, renewable energy, and infrastructure projects, XLPE cables meet global standards such as IEC, UL, and IEEE—making them a proven choice for high-performance electrical networks.

Description
Flat cable, featuring a compact and parallel conductor layout, offers a space-saving and highly flexible wiring solution for modern electronics and industrial systems. Its streamlined structure allows for easier routing, organized cable management, and better airflow in confined spaces—making it a preferred option for densely packed environments such as control panels, robotics, and automated equipment.

One of the key innovations in flat cable design is the use of XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) as an insulation material. Compared to traditional PVC, XLPE provides superior thermal resistance, electrical insulation, and mechanical strength. It can operate continuously at temperatures up to 90°C and withstand short-term exposure up to 250°C, ensuring long-term performance even in harsh or high-load environments.

XLPE insulated flat cables are not only heat-resistant but also highly resistant to moisture, oil, abrasion, and chemicals, making them ideal for both indoor and outdoor use—including industrial machinery, elevator systems, automotive harnesses, and renewable energy equipment. The uniform spacing of conductors helps minimize EMI and crosstalk, which is especially critical in signal or data transmission applications.

Whether you're building compact electronic modules or large-scale control systems, flat cables with XLPE insulation offer a reliable, durable, and thermally stable solution that meets global standards like UL, IEC, and RoHS.
