PTFE insulated wire (Teflon Wire)
Description
PTFE wire (Teflon wire) is a high-performance electrical wire insulated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), offering exceptional heat resistance, chemical durability, and mechanical stability. With a typical temperature range of -65°C to +200°C, it performs reliably under high voltage and thermal cycling. PTFE insulated wire is widely used in aerospace, military, automotive, medical, and industrial control systems.

Compared to conventional PVC or rubber-insulated wires, PTFE wire delivers longer life in harsh environments. It resists moisture, oils, acids, and solvents, and maintains stable performance under vibration and stress. Its thin insulation and excellent dielectric properties make it ideal for RF circuits, sensors, and high-frequency signal transmission.

Available in both single-core and multi-core structures, its meet key industry standards such as UL 1213, MIL-W-16878, and ASTM specifications. They are widely applied in aviation, lab instrumentation, and energy systems, providing reliability, flexibility, and long-term protection for demanding applications.
